Man dies from injuries sustained in fight | Crime
SHELBY - Police are investigating the death of a 58-year-old who died following an altercation with another person.
According to the Shelby Police Department, Emanuel "Ricky" Osborne Howell of Shelby died on Saturday at 3:55 pm at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte.
Howell suffered injuries from a physical altercation which occurred on Buffalo Street in Shelby on April 19th.
The investigation into the incident is on-going.
The case will now be presented to the district attorney's office to determine if charges should be filed against the other person involved.
